ECC Group Announces year-on-year increase in revenue of 39% from 2015 to 2017

ECC Group Chairman, Hatem Farah is recognized for the Lifetime Achievement Award for his outstanding contribution to the industry


Hatem Farah, Chairman and Founder of the ECC Group of companies, was recently recognized with the Lifetime Achievement award at the Construction Innovation Awards ceremony. The accolade identifies Mr. Hatem’s longstanding contributions towards the regional construction industry throughout his 46-year career. Engineering Contracting Company (ECC), established in 1975, announced a steady increase in revenue, an average percentage of 39% per year from 2015 to 2017.

Hatem Farah began his career in the UAE in 1972, and in 1975 established his first enterprise, Engineering Contracting Company LLC (ECC), alongside his partner and colleague Khodr Aldah, General Director of ECC Group. ECC steadily grew over the next four decades at a sustainable-rate, organically, creating a flexible business model to provide a comprehensive solution to their clients. The associated companies were established every decade thereafter that includes Abanos, Aurora, Prime Metal Industries, United Masters, CoreServ, Prime Ready Mix, ECC Renovations, SECC, and Cemento (CECC), evolving into a contracting powerhouse of over 9,000 skilled professionals.

ECC Group is responsible for over thousands of iconic projects across the UAE, contributing greatly over the years to the ever-evolving Dubai skyline and surrounding areas. The first landmark project that ECC worked on was the restoration of the iconic Deira Clocktower, completed in 1993. The Group has also delivered the interiors of Giorgio Armani’s At.mosphere restaurants on level 122 of the Burj Khalifa, Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi, Etihad Museum, Dubai Design District D3, the Dubai Frame, the Springs, Emirates Flight Catering, Dubai Wharf, Hyati Residence to name a few.
